  • We recommend wearing something comfortable that you can move freely in.

  • We recommend wearing something comfortable that you can move freely in. No zippers or buttons please. Pilates socks are optional and for sale at the studio boutique.

  • Bring a Yoga mat, if you don’t have one you can rent one of our high quality mats for $2 or purchase one from our selection in our studio boutique. If you sweat a lot, bring a towel and water.

  • Water and Pilates socks, if you choose to wear them, but this is optional. You do not need a mat.

  • We recommend starting with our Grace Beginner/Basics Class. This is the perfect way to ease into learning about the physical practice as well as the mental. Also, try a Grace Restorative Class. It’s a relaxing class that doesn’t require you to have experience.

  • We ask that all clients who are new to the Pilates Reformer attend a Grace Reformer Level 1 Session. Or we also recommend emailing graceyogaonhighland@gmail.com to set up a Private session.

  • Even if you practice Yoga once a week, you’ll feel the difference. If it’s in your schedule, try practicing 3 to 5 times a week. Let your body be your guide.

  • Please cancel your class or sauna reservation at least 8 hours before the start of the class to avoid a "Late Cancel" or "No Show" fee or loss of the pass.

  • Pilates Reformer classes require a reservation.

Yoga classes do not require a reservation but are recommended.

  • Download the MindBody APP and create an account. Allow location. Search for Grace Yoga on Highland and save as a favorite.

  • Try closing the APP and opening it again. Try logging out and logging back in. Please don’t create another account for yourself. Call us at 225-256-5965 to help.

  • Please check with your doctor or a health professional before starting Yoga or Pilates. For yoga may want to stay in Beginner/Basics classes or attend our relaxing Grace Restorative classes and for Pilates start with Reformer I.

  • If a class that you would like to attend is full, we recommend putting yourself on the waitlist.  To do so, you will purchase a class or package.  If you do not get into the class, the session will remain in your account to use later.

If a spot opens, you will receive a text and/or an email notification. You will respond “yes” or “no” to confirm your choice.  ***It’s very important that your contact information has “texts/email notifications” ON to receive notice of the waitlist.

All classes require an 8-hour cancellation, so if you are added to a class from the waitlist at the last minute, be aware the 8-hour cancellation still applies.  If you no longer want a spot in the class, you need to remove yourself from the waitlist 8 hours in advance of the class.  If you are added to the class and don’t remove yourself in time, you will lose the class.
