YOGA NIDRA

with Dee Dee Jones

Yoga Nidra is a powerful meditation technique where the mind remains conscious during the normally “unconscious” state associated with deep sleep. Practiced in the lying position, it is one of the most popular yoga meditation techniques, because it induces a deep state of rest. It is effortless, enjoyable, soothing and recuperative. 

⠀ Join the amazing and talented DeeDee Jones every Monday in our studio for Yoga Nidra at 6pm.

In addition to your mat, you may bring a blanket and pillow but it is not required. Spaces are limited and this class will fill quickly.

  DeeDee Jones is a meditation facilitator, yoga instructor, and energy healer all under the umbrella of Spiritual Coach. In her day to day she supports people in going inward to discover their true path to healing through Therapeutic Energy Healing and other meditative practices. DeeDee’s intention is to support others in remembering that there is a guiding light within us all that can lead to deeper knowledge and healing.

MAT PILATES

Mat Pilates is a strengthening and lengthening form of exercise that focuses on your entire body and can be modified for any age, body, or fitness level. 

Mat Pilates is a great choice for beginners to advanced students because the exercises can be modified to decrease or increase the level of challenge. Practicing Mat Pilates can help build a strong, balanced body and increased flexibility. As you progress in your practice you will notice improvements in breathing, focus, stress management, and body awareness. Pilates can improve posture, better coordination and balance, increased lung capacity, increased body awareness, stress management, and injury prevention. 

Mat Pilates is perfect for beginners because you only need your own body, a mat, and some floor space to start.

Additional props will be provided. Class is 50 mins in length. Classes will be held Tuesdays at 4pm and Thursdays at 10:30am.

  Cherie Chassaignac's passion for the Mind, Body and Breath connection does not stop at yoga, she is also a 500hr Comprehensively trained Pilate teacher in Reformer, Exo Chair, Mat, TRX Suspension, Springboard and Cadillac.  Cherie has over 1000 hours of teaching Yoga in a variety of classes from Vinyasa to Restorative, Yin, Chair and Senior Movement.⠀
